So went and bought (or more correctly John-Andrew bought) the composting bin today. It's funny looking. It's a wire box fence that doesn't have a bottom so it's somewhat akin to a hot box system or open pile. Everyone is going to get rounds on turning the pile and helping with upkeep. Need to get a compost thermometer though.

    Frustrations and annoyances
Ranting goes below. I haven't figured how to do a text cut on IJ yet so no text cut. I'm not exactly apologetic for length because of clutter on other people's pages.

I am bloody well pissed off about the fact that my computer is being a pain in the ass and not downloading the new WoW patch. I WANNA PLAY WoW ON A DECENT COMPUTER DAMN IT!! And now onto the health care issue because I live in a house with people that I would get into a circular argument with. The idea of health care reform not only bothers me but honestly scares me because of the level of delusion that was required to be able to think of it. I mean come on... The American Health Insurance industry not only makes money off of people by leading them around by the nose they pay their employees for being able to run the people that are insured around in circles while denying their claim. How can anyone think that reform can work in a system like that? It's absurd. The health insurance companies will find new ways to screw people over. The other issue that I have with it is that what good is "HEALTH CARE" when the environment that we live in is toxic? I just recently finished detoxing from Mercury and Nickle Poisoning. Modern Health Care doesn't even have anything that does that. HOLISTIC MEDICINE does. Modern Health care would just have given me another pill and said that "It'll help with the symptoms that you're having so that you can get through the day" and not "Here's something that can get rid of the problem all together". Modern medicne would have also said "This medicine will start working immediately but it might have some adverse side effects" and not "You'll have to take this once a day for possibly a month and a half to two months and you won't have any side effects from it other than you'll start to feel better". A BIG BUSINESS CORPORATION does not care about actually fixing any problem other than they want money. So trying to reform an industry that 1)Can't stand to lose money, 2)Goes and promotes something to help with symptoms, 3)Doesn't even bother to tell people how to keep healthy 4)Doesn't care about the general populace and 5)More than likely doesn't believe in a healthy lifestyle is not inane it's fool hardy and will be circumvented and become ineffectual. IT SICKENS ME. The societal values of America need to be overhauled before "HEALTH CARE REFORM" should even be thought of. Yes I was indulging a rant and would more than likely be shot down by other people but I feel entitled to it. I had dropped 20 pounds in the course of a month without any change in diet or exercise levels (which weren't at that point) and no one could figure out why. I went in to have my blood drawn for Heavy Metal Toxicity/Poisoning tests and they came back negative. After I had gotten fed up with "Inconclusive results" and "I guess you'll just have to live with your symptoms" we went to see a "Non Traditional Expert" otherwise known as a Nutritionist that he said "Oh when you do a Heavy Metal Toxicity Test you have to have a certain pill 24 hours before because your bloodstream will push Mercury into your bones because it's so poisonous." He had a sample of mercury in a vial and did a neurological stress test (i.e. the test where you're lying on your back and your arm is pressed) with a vial with a fairly small amount of mercury in it. YES IT DID WORK. And now I'm completely detoxed from Mercury and Nickle in my system and while I was detoxing everyone in the house said I had overall improvement on a weekly basis.
Now onto part two which goes over the toxic environment problem. If the environment in which people live in is unhealthy what good does trying to reform Health Care and how doctors operate do? As a warning the remainder of this is going to be fairly snide because I think that America is overpopulated even though most will say that we aren't and I think that 1 per household is a good idea. What good does reform for health care do if we'll be continuously sick and endangering future generations by unhealthy air, water and the earth in which we grow our food? Non withstanding that most of the food grown is genetically modified and making people sick and resistant to antibiotics (which are a complete and total crock to begin with because there are plants that have antibiotic properties in spades-to note this is something that I would be shot down on by my own boyfriend because people were dying in the thousands from infections before there were antibiotics), not getting enough nutrients because they're pulled before they finish growing and there forth don't have everything that they were originally designed with. And that bullshit/hogwash/balderdash about High Fructose Corn Syrup being better than sugar as a sweetener... Don't fucking get me started. And the general lifestyle in which the average American lives. This could be conceived as controversial subject matter but if you don't talk about things that are controversial then nothing gets done or at the worst the rights that you're trying to pursue get swept under the rug. SARCASM WARNING. God only knows that their are people in America that even though they don't say as such that they'd like to see everyone that's homosexual, bisexual or transexual/transgender as either second class citizens, jailed or dead. They helped fund legislation in Uganda and gave the all fired, important information of "The gays want to recruit school children" to the lawmakers that were writing that heinous piece of putrid and puerile legislation.
Now back on track to the reform that should have been passed before the Health Care Reform Bill. I think that President Obama was a small step in the right direction. Putting in the organic garden was honestly lip service because there have been organic farms in the US for the past 20 years. Yes they were fewer of them 20 years ago but they were there. It is everyone's environmental and civic duty to ensure that there are clean and constantly renewable power sources. Coal will generate again... In a few million years. Making coal is part of the geological process. Using coal is a part of the extinction process. No species on this planet has the right to be part of the extinction process. Only geological process or extraterrestial event has the right be part of the extinction process or the reason for extinction. Only evolutionary process does. And saying that a species that has so extricated itself from the natural process of things is a part of nature is not only backwards but wrong and corrupt. The Human species after agriculture and domestication of animals is the only animal that so drastically alters it's surroundings and then when the area is spent it stays in that area and wonders why everything around them is dying. Even wild pigs or boars are they're usually called go in and nearly completely ruin an area and then leave so it can recover. When humans go in and ruin an area it takes far greater time for the area to recover and be inhabitable and safe for anything to live in for a while. Only recently have people gone in and tried to fix areas like that. But at that point the damage is done and that area is dead. So the first policy change that President Obama should have made is that he should have pursued clean energy and the gradual dismantling of all Coal Fired Power plants and the deconstruction of all hydro electric dams in favor of the miniature wind turbines that are now in place in the East River and providing power for over a city block of New York with power that is assured never to go out unless the moon suddenly stops exerting gravitational pull on the tidal basins of the world. Even if all the people in the world dissapeared there would still be power for a block of New York because the flow of a river around an island never dies. Passing those reforms first would have created far more jobs at a much steadier rate than needing more health professionals. Also the institution of trade schools should have been looked at before because it honestly makes more sense to have trained and skilled labor at something than people that phase in and out of jobs continuously trying to figure out what they want to do with their lives. And now I draw to a close because I can't think much anymore.
